Job Summary

Are you looking for a role that allows you to broaden your network both internally and externally, while working with a comprehensive view of the company? The Central Quality Department at GKN Aerospace Sweden AB (GAS) is seeking a new team member within the Quality Department.

Job Responsibilities

  • Planning, conducting, and reporting on internal and supplier audits, focusing on improving all areas of GAS, including Quality, Health & Safety & Environment (HSE), and Risk & Crisis Management.
  • Conducting system, special process, and product audits on-site at suppliers and sources, as well as coordinating customer and registrar audits at GAS. Initiating root cause analysis, follow-up of corrective actions, and improvement initiatives.
  • Leading or participating in quality projects and improvement teams, contributing to the development of audit methods for quality, environment, and risk management, and providing management with status reports.
  • Sharing best practices across the organization and supporting continuous improvement of the BMS/QMS and related processes.
  • Performing duties both independently and as part of audit teams.

Job Qualifications

  • Engineering background with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes, product development, quality, and laboratory evaluation.
  • Knowledge of supplier quality, process improvements, and problem-solving at suppliers.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems, quality tools, Six Sigma, etc.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience in conducting supplier audits.
  • Aerospace industry knowledge.
  • IRCA Lead Auditor certification (5-day course or equivalent).
