Job Summary

Are you looking for a role with the opportunity to broaden your network internally and externally? Do you work with an understanding of the overall company picture? The Central Quality Department at GKN Aerospace Sweden AB (GAS) is seeking a new member to join the Quality Department.

Job Responsibilities

1. Planning, performing, and reporting internal and supplier audits. Internal audits focus on improving all areas of GAS, emphasizing Quality, Health & Safety & Environment (HSE), and Risk & Crisis Management.
2. Conducting System, Special Process, and Product audits onsite at suppliers and GAS sources. Coordinating audits from customers and registrars, initiating root cause analysis, and following up on corrective actions and improvement initiatives.
3. Leading or participating in quality projects and improvement teams. Contributing to the development of audit methods for quality, environment, and risk & crisis management, and providing management with updated status reports.
4. Identifying and sharing best practices across the business, supporting continuous improvement of BMS/QMS and processes.
5. Performing roles within audit teams and working independently.

Job Qualifications

• Engineering background with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, product development, and quality or lab evaluation.
• Knowledge of supplier quality and process improvements, problem solving at suppliers.
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems, Quality Tools, Six Sigma, etc.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience with supplier audits.
• Aerospace industry knowledge.
• IRCA Lead Auditor certification (5 days or similar).
