Job summary

Humdinger in Heckington seeks a QA Auditor to uphold food quality, safety and continuous improvement across our manufacturing environment. You will help maintain an audit-ready site, identify improvement opportunities and support investigations that protect product quality and customer confidence.

The permanent full-time role offers a 36-hour week, 3 on 4 off shifts (18:00–06:00) with pay £16.17 per hour and 20 days holiday, plus pension and health benefits. Closing date 2026-08-21.

Qualifications

• Quality Auditor experience in a food manufacturing environment is essential.
• Strong focus on product quality and following procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and clear communication.
• Team-oriented, supportive and able to work collaboratively.
• Confident in challenging non-compliance with solid problem-solving ability.
• Competent IT skills, including strong use of Microsoft Office.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 and HACCP Level 2

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal & external audits including GMP, hygiene, pest control, glass and hard plastics audits.
• Identify non-conformances and support corrective action completion.
• Complete environmental monitoring, hand swabs, rapid swabs and water sampling.
• Review product specifications, testing results and quality documentation.
• Investigate customer complaints and foreign body incidents using root cause analysis.
• Support traceability exercises and quality management system compliance.
• Participate in taste panels and finished product assessments.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, NPD and wider business functions.

Are you passionate about food quality, food safety and continuous improvement? Join our Technical team and play a key role in ensuring our products consistently meet the highest standards of quality, safety and customer expectations.

As a Quality Assurance Auditor, you will help maintain an audit-ready manufacturing environment, identify opportunities for improvement and support investigations that protect both product quality and customer confidence.

Position type: Permanent Full-Time

Hours: 36

Shift Pattern: 3 on 4 off, Monday - Saturday, 18:00 - 06:00

Pay range: £16.17 per hour

Breaks: 3 x 20 minute paid

Closing Date: Friday 21st August 2026
