Job Title: QA Auditor Food Manufacturing
Location: Derby, DE24
Type: Temp to Perm
Pay Rate: £13.15 per hour / £27,362.50 based on 40 hours a week / Monday - Friday

We're currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established food manufacturing site in Derby, for a QA Auditor to join their Quality Assurance team. This is a temp-to-perm role offering long-term prospects for the right candidate.

About the role:

As a QA Auditor, you will play a key part in maintaining product safety and quality throughout the production process. You'll carry out checks, audits, and investigations, ensuring all procedures align with food safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Main responsibilities:

Conduct quality checks on temperature, weights, product specs, hygiene, and traceability

Monitor CCPs in line with HACCP guidelines

Record findings and report non-conformances

Support internal and external audits

Participate in complaint investigations and taste panels

Maintain documentation to meet BRC and customer requirements

Communicate effectively with production and QA teams

Shift pattern:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Occasional early starts from 5:00 AM every 3 to 4 weeks please note this may not suit public transport users

What we're looking for:

Previous experience in QA or food production

Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards

Attention to detail and a proactive attitude

Comfortable working in chilled production areas

Basic IT skills for logging checks and completing reports
