For the successful QA Assistant our client is offering;

• Competitive salary of up to £29,754 per annum D.O.E
• 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday, 16:30 Friday (39.5 hours per week)

The Role of the QA Assistant;

• Checking records from the factory quality documentation
• Closing and raising non-conformances and reviewing weekly trends
• Carrying out regular internal audits on quality aspects of production
• Heavy involvement in customer and external audits
• Challenge quality standards and procedures and identify areas of improvement where possible
• Any other duties/ projects that are reasonable and within the skills and ability of the post holder
• Reporting any issues that arise
• Completing all relevant quality related paperwork
• Adhering to food hygiene standards

What our client is looking for in a QA Assistant;

• Experience within a manufacturing environment - ESSENTIAL
• Experience carrying out internal Audits and competently dealing with external audits - ESSENTIAL
• Quality background within a food environment - PREFERRED
• Familiar with food hygiene standards/procedures.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
