Job summary

A leading financial services client in London seeks an experienced Application Tester to join a Dev Support team on a 6‑month hybrid contract in London (Harbour Exchange). The role focuses on hands-on testing across .NET/C# apps, SQL databases, API tests and test governance.

Responsibilities include creating test plans, executing functional and non-functional tests, managing defects, and supporting UAT with business users.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in application/software testing.
• Experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle.
• Strong SQL and data validation skills.
• Experience with API testing and batch processing.
• Experience testing .NET/C# applications.
• Good understanding of functional, regression and non-functional testing.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Xray and/or JIRA.
• Strong defect management and test documentation experience.
• Comfortable working with business users and supporting UAT.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across technical and business teams.

Application Tester / AVP – London
