Job summary

Hastings Direct in the UK is seeking a Quality Assurance Analytics Enablement Lead for a hybrid role based in Bexhill, London or Leicester. You will lead QA data strategy, governance and reporting to strengthen customer outcomes, risk visibility and operational decision-making across the QA function.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading analytics, insight, automation or assurance within Insurance or regulated environments.
• Proven ability to develop risk-based insights, governance reporting and standards for decision‑making.
• Strong understanding of QA and assurance frameworks, with customer outcome focus.
• Experience identifying automation, AI and advanced analytics opportunities with governance.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear data, tooling and governance requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration across QA, Operations, Data, Technology.

Responsibilities

• Own QA insight, governance and business requirements; translate frameworks into reporting and data needs.
• Define how QA insight is interpreted, governed and reported; ensure clear customer outcomes visibility.
• Drive risk-based assurance and targeting using regulatory and operational risk indicators.
• Identify and deliver automation and tooling opportunities in partnership with Technology and Change teams.
• Champion AI, speech and text analytics use cases; ensure explainability and controlled use.
• Provide strategic QA leadership with recommendations to evolve to a modern, outcome-driven function.
