Job summary

HEINEKEN UK Supply Chain in Hereford is seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst to join the Quality team and support analytical, microbiological and sensory testing within a fast-paced lab environment.

You will verify meters, calibrate equipment and work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with LSS and HACCP standards. A chemistry/biology background and hands-on lab experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology or similar science.
• Experience in laboratories with lab procedures & safety protocols.
• Experience using GC and HPLC techniques.

Responsibilities

• Executing analytical, microbiological and sensory analyses, including sampling, preparation and reporting of results
• Verifying in-line meters and carrying out quality checks in line with LSS procedures
• Maintaining, calibrating and troubleshooting laboratory and production analysis equipment
• Keeping laboratory materials stocked and available
• Contributing to a safe, clean and tidy working area, following 5S, LSS and HACCP standards
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and corrective actions (ISO 9001, LSS, TPM)
• Coordinating with shared quality labs on trend analyses, sample shipping and equipment management
