Job summary

Cast Iron Games Limited is seeking a QA tester to join our growing QA team. You will work closely with developers to ensure high-quality games on the latest hardware and deliver a seamless player experience.

The role emphasizes adaptability, learning, and collaboration in a studio that values clarity, balance, and no crunch. You should have a passion for games and be comfortable taking ownership with guidance from seniors.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Willing to learn and grow in QA.
• Passion for video games and gaming industry.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Familiar with Agile processes.
• Experience with bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA).
• Experience with platforms (Steam, PS/Xbox) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with QA and other development teams.
• Identify, analyse and enter bugs into the project database.
• Create and follow test plans covering multiple game areas.
• Communicate project area status throughout the development cycle.
• Support development teams as needs arise.
• Become an expert on the game and features of current project.
• Own features with support from Seniors and Leads.
