QA Analyst – Nottingham / Hybrid – 6-month Fixed-Term Contract

£36,000 - £42,000 + 35-hour work week and great benefits

This profitable and multi-site company is looking for an experienced Test Analyst to join a growing testing team. You will be joining a market-leading company on an initial fixed-term basis (for 6 months) to develop and establish quality assurance standards and measures for the business intelligence IT services. The role will be hybrid, with the expectation of at least 1-2 days per week in their central Nottingham office.

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, the Software Tester / QA Analyst will create automated tests for new applications and system integrations to reduce manual testing but will perform manual testing when required. You will oversee the design, development, and implementation of QA standards for software and infrastructure testing.

Technical skills
  • At least 3 years of commercial experience as a software tester
  • Experience as a lead tester on projects
  • Experience with ad hoc query programs, automated testing tools, and reporting software
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and overseeing quality assurance standards
  • Understanding of software and infrastructure testing
  • Solid experience in automation testing and willingness to perform manual testing
  • Experience working within Agile and Scrum practices
  • Hands-on experience with ALM tools
  • ISTQB certifications
