MCS Group in Belfast is seeking a Python Software Engineer (AWS) to join a growing AI Centre of Excellence. You will design scalable Python backend services, build AI-powered platforms, and work with cloud-native technologies to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

This hybrid role requires strong engineering fundamentals, the ability to learn new technologies, and collaboration with engineers, data specialists and technical leads.

Are you a strong backend engineer looking to take the next step into AI?

We're working with a leading financial services organisation that is expanding its AI engineering capability and is looking for an experienced engineer to join a growing Centre of Excellence. This is an opportunity to work on enterprise-scale AI initiatives, building reusable platforms and solutions that will be adopted across the business.

You don't need to be an AI expert already. If you have solid software engineering fundamentals and are passionate about emerging technologies, you'll be supported in developing your AI expertise while working alongside an experienced, high-performing team.

What you'll be doing
