Job summary

Elliot Marsh in the United Kingdom is seeking a software professional with strong Python skills to join our fintech payments team in Bangor. You will work on developing secure, scalable software and stay current with evolving technologies.

This role offers remote-friendly, flexible working, opportunities for progression, and involvement across our London and Malta offices. You will contribute to delivering projects on time and maintaining high standards of software quality.

Qualifications

Knowledge and experience of the Python programming language.

Responsibilities

Keep up to date with the latest software development technologies and methodologies.
Write clean and healthy structured code.
Stay aware of the latest data protection and security threats and help mitigate these risks.
Review and utilise industry standard software development tools such as source control, deployment servers, and build servers where appropriate.
Assist the technical leader to calculate work estimates.
Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices.
Carry out instructions given by your line manager.
Comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and relevant directives in all activities.
Develop financial payment systems fit for purpose.
Provide business requirement solutions.
Deliver projects on time and within budget.
Take responsibility for decision-making within the strategic plan framework.
