Job summary

Oxford Knight in London is seeking a Python Quant Researcher to join a Fixed Income / Rates trading pod. You will draw on your Rates experience to model market behaviour across the short, medium and longer term, working closely with the Portfolio Manager.

This high-impact, entrepreneurial role offers autonomy in a small PM team and a generous compensation package with potential for substantial upside.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of quant research or risk-taking experience.
• Deep understanding of Python and its ecosystem.
• Familiarity with SQL.
• Knowledge of rates markets is essential.
• Technical background (Maths/ CS/Engineering).
• Advanced academic background, e.g. PhD.
• Pricing, bond curves and risk models experience useful.

Responsibilities

• Model market behaviour in rates across short, medium and long term.
• Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager to implement trading ideas.
• Deliver high-impact research with autonomy in a small team.
