Job summary

Mastek is seeking an experienced Full Stack Python Developer to design, build, and deliver large-scale digital platforms. You will work across frontend and backend, shaping APIs and cloud-hosted architectures, and collaborating with designers, product leads, and data specialists to drive production-ready features.

You will lead technical development, ensure secure, scalable solutions, and contribute to platforms that span public and private sectors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Lead Developer or Senior Software Engineer working on large-scale digital platforms.
• Strong frontend expertise in React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with SQL databases, data modelling and data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and version control (Git).
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.
• Experience in agile or multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Familiarity with microservices and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep).
• Knowledge of modern authentication standards (OAuth, OpenID Connect).
• Understanding of performance optimization, caching strategies, and scalable design.
• Experience in regulated or data-sensitive environments.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Python Developer to support the design, development, and delivery of large‑scale digital platforms. Working as part of a multidisciplinary product team, you will contribute to end‑to‑end software engineering—building reliable, scalable, and secure digital services that meet user needs and organisational objectives.

The role involves leading technical development activities across both frontend and backend components, shaping system integrations, developing high‑quality APIs, and contributing to cloud‑hosted platform architectures. You will work closely with designers, product leads, architects, and data specialists to refine requirements, develop prototypes, validate technical options, and deliver production‑ready features.
