Job summary

DRW is seeking an exceptional Software Engineer to join a team that designs and develops tools and infrastructure used by Traders and Quant Researchers. You will collaborate across the firm to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions that expand the trading platform while promoting software engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience building demanding, live systems in Python.
• In-depth knowledge of Python and keeps up with current standards (3.11 onwards).
• Familiarity with Linux and CI software (TeamCity or Jenkins).
• Ability to mentor others and lead small projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day technology requirements of our proprietary trading systems.
• Accelerate trading and research analysis workflows by expanding DRW's in-house infrastructure.
• Evaluate new technologies and deprecate legacy code to improve the stack.
• Collaborate with engineers, traders, and researchers to design custom frameworks.
• Write performance sensitive code and user-friendly APIs for in-house data analysis.
• Lead design discussions and conduct code reviews to maintain high standards.
