## Python Engineer, Beacon – Gas, Power & Renewables TechnologyApplylocations: London, United Kingdomtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R-018441**Main purpose**We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join our Gas, Power & Renewables (GPR) Technology team. You will be a core member of a small, high-impact engineering group embedded within a broader team of quants, analysts, traders, and deal desk professionals.Your primary focus will be building risk solutions for the Power and Gas trading desk on top of **Beacon Platform**. This is a 100% hands-on development role — you will own the full development lifecycle, from gathering requirements directly with traders and stakeholders through to delivering production-quality solutions.This role will work directly with the trading desk. Candidates who have previously worked in a trading floor environment will be familiar with the pace and communication style,and will have a natural advantage.You will be joining a well-resourced, commercially active team at the centre of one of the most dynamic areas of the energy markets.
