Qualifications

• Strong backend development experience with Python.
• Experience with financial or market data.
• Designing and operating data-intensive, distributed systems.
• Solid knowledge of Relational, NoSQL and Columnar databases.
• Ability to own the full development lifecycle across projects.
• Collaborative, pragmatic with stakeholder management skills.
• STEM degree with at least a 2.1; MSc likely.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data platform components with Python.
• Develop and optimise ETL pipelines, Data Lakes/Lakehouses and distributed systems.
• Improve infrastructure, observability and CI/CD practices.
• Maintain and evolve microservices and Excel add-ins.
• Support platform operations ensuring reliability and performance.
