Salary: up to £150k + £75k bonus

This prestigious hedge fund is seeking a Python developer to join their Commodities team working on RAD-style projects.

The team consists of engineers, quantitative developers, and data scientists developing a next-generation commodity technology platform. The role involves developing primarily in Python and collaborating with various Portfolio Management teams, offering exposure to diverse technologies.

Ideal candidates enjoy engaging with the business, thrive in fast-paced environments, and possess excellent communication skills with both technical and financial stakeholders.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • At least 2 years of experience developing applications with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, Tornado, or FastAPI, along with data tools like Pandas and NumPy.
  • Some web frontend development skills, preferably with ReactorAngular.
  • Knowledge of SQL, databases, and experience with unit testing.
  • An advanced degree in Computer Science or a related scientific field from a top-tier university.
  • Experience in finance, particularly in Commodities.
