Role: Python Software Engineer

Location: London / hybrid
Salary: Up to £90,000 equity

About:

Our client is actively seeking an experienced full-stack engineer to join their team, focusing on building software that allows electricity to be shifted around in a distributed way, such as charging Electric Vehicles when it is cheapest and saving carbon emissions. They also provide an app for customers to notify them of the cheapest times to charge, allowing them to receive cash back. The company has recently received seed funding of $9 million and is looking to grow their London team quickly.

Ideal candidates will have:

1. 4-5 years' experience working with Python, React, Typescript, and GCP
2. Professional experience with automated testing and maintaining large codebases in Python
3. Experience working in an agile software development environment
4. Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent
5. Excitement about working for a Tech for Good / Greentech / Energy startup
