Core Developer (Python) - Algo Trading Firm - London - Up to £350k+ TC (DOE)

One of London's most impressive Algo Trading firms is looking for Engineering Wizards to join their team in London. Having arguably one of the best technology teams in the world, the firm is in a stage of hypergrowth, aiming to become a leading liquidity provider in the market.

The firm is renowned for its advanced tech and above-market-rate compensation, having made approximately 40 of its staff millionaires in the last 2 years.

In this role, you will focus on highly scalable distributed systems, working directly with the Lead Core Developer, the CTO, and other internal stakeholders. You will design and build systems on Linux, using Python, which will communicate with the C++ stack.

The focus will be on building a high-performance system handling over 100 million transactions daily.

Requirements:

• Excellent Python skills with a good understanding of relevant libraries.
• Significant system design and architecture knowledge for highly distributed systems.
• Ability to design, build, and optimize high-performing Python systems from scratch.
• Previous experience with building or upgrading SQL databases is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of source versioning systems.
• BSc in Computer Science or a similar STEM subject.
