Python Developer – Regulatory Reporting Platform

twentyAI's customer are hiring a Python Developer to join their Finance Technology team supporting the Finance Controllers organisation on critical regulatory reporting initiatives. This is a key contract role focused on the ongoing development and support of a regulatory reporting platform, including a leading vendor product and its surrounding in-house Python infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain in-house components integrated with a vendor platform (ControllerView)
• Automate and enhance regulatory reporting data pipelines using Python
• Contribute to environment setup, infrastructure tooling, and CI/CD pipelines
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries for regulatory datasets
• Collaborate with finance and tech stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
• Support platform deployments, upgrades, and production issues
• Maintain documentation and follow secure coding and compliance standards

Required Skills:

• Good grasp of OOP, data structures, algorithms
• Experience with Agile development, Git, automated testing, CI/CD
• Intermediate-level SQL (write and tune queries)
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and scripting
• Comfortable with DevOps tooling and environment management
