Job summary

Few&Far is hiring a Senior Software Engineer/Python Developer to join a HealthTech venture in Shoreditch. The role focuses on building consumer features with autonomy, working alongside a founding team including a CTO who has experience with AI foundation models. On-site collaboration in a fast-paced environment is essential.

The candidate should have strong Python skills, React experience, and a product-minded approach. AI exposure is a bonus, and regulated-health domain knowledge is valued.

Qualifications

• Strong Python engineering skills with core Python stack.
• Experience in building new products/features where requirements are not fully known.
• Product-minded engineering thinking about what to build and why.
• Comfort across the stack including APIs, async systems, databases, integrations, infrastructure; frontend/mobile when required.

Responsibilities

• Own new consumer features from initial idea to customer usage.
• Collaborate with CTO, founders, product, design and clinical teams.
• Deliver high-quality, autonomous engineering work with impact on the product.

Senior Software Engineer/Python Developer | HealthTech | Outside IR35 | £550-650/day

Few&Far are partnered with one of the most ambitious early-stage HealthTech businesses I’ve come across, and they’re adding another engineer to the team. This is additional headcount, taking the engineering team to 7. They only want the best of the best!!

They’re building a category-leading consumer healthcare product designed to help people understand their health, prevent illness and ultimately live healthier for longer.

What are they looking for?

• Excellent Python engineering skills, Python is at the core of the stack
• Zero-to-one experience, someone who has built new products/features where the answers weren't already known
• Product-minded engineering, someone who thinks about what to build and why, not just how to implement a ticket
• Comfortable working across the stack — APIs, async systems, databases, integrations, infrastructure and frontend/mobile when required
• React experience is expected, with React Native experience a big plus rather than a requirement
• AI experience is beneficial, but this isn't a pure AI/research engineering role
• Regulated industry / HealthTech experience is a bonus

This is a genuine in-person engineering environment, working closely with the CTO, founders, product, design and clinical teams.

You’ll be joining an experienced founding team, including a CTO who has previously trained foundation models and exited an AI startup, and have genuine ownership over new consumer features from initial idea through to customers using them.
