Overview

Python Developer with key skills in Azure and MySQL ideally gained working on business transaction projects within financial services is sought on a fully remote basis by a market leading financial services organisation based near Manchester.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the lead Engineer on new platform functionality aimed at creating automation middleware to help drive business efficiencies whilst improving usability for the end user.
• Support greenfield development and progress quickly in a market leading company.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of commercial Python development experience.
• Experience working on business transaction projects (pension, banking, accounting, payments, back-office processing, etc).
• Framework experience – Flask, Django, FastAPI, etc.
• Solid MySQL skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced financial services/accounting environment.
• Azure cloud exposure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience integrating automation solutions into existing platforms is a plus.
