Job summary

Enfint is a fast-growing AI startup delivering compliance and efficiency tech for regulated industries. We seek a software engineer to design scalable cloud-native apps and drive the full stack, including backend, frontend, CI/CD, and Azure deployment.

You will work with Python as the core language, build RESTful APIs, and explore LLMs/agentic AI while shaping engineering practices and culture. London office attendance two days weekly; Cambridge one day weekly with expenses covered.

Qualifications

• Advanced Python skills
• Experience in a technology start-up
• Experience building software from scratch and iterating quickly
• Strong Python skills
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Experience with LLMs and agentic AI
• Proactive entrepreneurial spirit
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies
• Comfort working in unstructured start-up environments
• Collaborative approach and strong communication skills
• Degree educated, with a minimum 2.1 at BSc from a top-tier university
• Computer Science or a closely related discipline
• Nice to have: TypeScript, React, HTML5, CSS3, MSc or PhD

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, cloud-native applications
• Work across the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and backend services through to frontend development, CI/CD and Azure deployment
• Collaborate with the founding team to influence technical direction
• Solve complex engineering challenges
• Establish engineering practices supporting future growth
• Build innovative products using AI technologies
• Influence product decisions, architecture and engineering culture
