Turning Point's Wakefield Talking Therapies service seeks a motivated Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) Team Leader on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role balances clinical work with leadership duties, supervising PWPs and low-intensity staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate is an accredited PWP with NHS Talking Therapies experience, excellent communication, and proven supervision skills across a multidisciplinary leadership team.

Qualifications

• Accredited PWP with NHS Talking Therapies experience.
• Experience delivering low-intensity interventions with clinical governance.
• Proven ability to supervise, mentor and lead PWPs and other staff.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality low-intensity interventions in line with Talking Therapies guidance.
• Provide clinical case management and line management support to staff.
• Support recruitment, induction and ongoing development of team members.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure safe, effective service delivery.
• Monitor waiting lists and caseloads to ensure timely access.
• Use data to support service improvement and performance targets.
