We're recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer (Track) to support one of the UK's most significant long-term rail infrastructure programmes, helping shape the future of the rail network over the next 30 years.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on major enhancement projects involving new railway infrastructure, capacity upgrades, electrification and line speed improvements across the North of England.
To be considered for this role, you'll ideally have previous experience working on Network Rail infrastructure projects, or strong track design experience within the early development and design phases of rail projects.
You’ll be confident reviewing track designs, working collaboratively with design consultants, and supporting projects from concept through to a deliverable design. Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to build positive working relationships are just as important as technical expertise.
You’ll be working across a portfolio of major rail enhancement programmes, including strategic routes across Yorkshire and the North of England. Two of these programmes are already in delivery, with others progressing through the development lifecycle.
