Job summary

Arc Hospitality Recruitment is expanding its Healthcare Division across Scotland, seeking PVG-checked chefs to support hospitals, care homes and education settings in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

You will work across flexible shifts with competitive pay (£16-£27 per hour) and holiday pay. PVG on Update Service is preferred, but training is available. This role offers ongoing opportunities, temp-to-perm options, and a supportive staffing partner dedicated to your professional development.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 Professional Cookery or equivalent experience.
• Food Safety Level 2 certificate within last 3 years.
• Food Allergen certificate within last 3 years.
• Health & Safety Level 2 within last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Cook to specification and opportunity for menu creation.
• Product Delivery, Standards and Innovation
• Cleaning the kitchen & it’s equipment
• Due diligence, Record food/fridge temps & wastage
• Liaising with Front of House Staff and Management.
• Stock Control, Waste Management and Finance
• Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Maintenance
• Be aware of and adhere to Health and Safety at Work, COSHH and other legislation at all times.
