Job summary

Digimasters is seeking an Information Classification Specialist to lead the classification workstream for an information governance programme in the AEC sector. You will design the classification framework, policies and handling rules, and implement them in Microsoft Purview, collaborating with the Data Governance Lead and client leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in information governance and data protection.
• Experience implementing classification schemes in enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Hybrid work arrangement and London-based role.

Responsibilities

• Support the design of the classification framework — scheme, sensitivity levels and the criteria for applying them
• Develop supporting policies, standards and handling rules aligned to client policies and regulatory requirements
• Run information asset discovery and maintain the asset register with business owners
• Configure sensitivity labels, auto-labelling rules and handling controls in Purview
• Plan and manage Purview implementation classification workstream, with milestones and risks
• Report progress to Digimasters and client leadership, prepare papers for governance forums
• Provide user guidance and training to ensure consistent classification practices
