As part of our Advisory Sales Enablement team, you’ll support teams across KPMG through the end-to-end process of winning work. We help with everything from identifying client issues and positioning KPMG to producing exciting proposal documents and compelling pitches. You’ll work with the most senior stakeholders daily, building relationships, networking, and growing your knowledge. We come together as a team to sell innovative tools and solutions to major organizations, giving KPMG an edge in a competitive market.

The Pursuit Manager will establish and manage the pursuit process, support the pursuit team and Lead Partner, and provide writing expertise. This role manages significant pursuits across advisory, often handling more than one simultaneously.

What will you be doing?

You will advise on all major elements of the pursuit process, including maintaining action plans, developing pursuit timelines with milestones, supporting client contact plans, proposal design and production, attending value proposition and win theme sessions, political analysis, storyboarding, providing first drafts of non-technical content, and quality checks. The Pursuit Manager should have sound knowledge of the pursuit sales methodology and implement best practices. You will communicate timelines, milestones, and responsibilities to ensure pursuit completion.

What will you need to do it?

• Significant experience in pursuit project management and a proven track record of winning business opportunities
• A deep understanding of the pursuit process and ability to leverage prior learnings
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Experience in writing/editing bids or business communications
• Creative skills and the ability to express them verbally and in writing
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills, initiative, and a proactive approach
• Ability to work under pressure, show determination, persistence, and pragmatism
• Resilience and a critical team member mindset
