As part of our Advisory Sales Enablement team, you’ll support teams across KPMG through the end-to-end process of winning work. We help with everything from identifying client issues and positioning KPMG to producing compelling proposal documents and pitches. You’ll work with senior stakeholders daily, building relationships, networking, and growing your knowledge. Our team sells innovative tools and solutions to major organizations, giving KPMG a competitive edge.

The Pursuit Manager establishes and manages the pursuit process to support the pursuit team and Lead Partner, providing writing expertise. This role manages significant pursuits across advisory, often handling more than one simultaneously.

What will you be doing?

You will advise on all major elements of the pursuit process, including maintaining action plans, developing pursuit timelines with milestones, supporting client contact plans, proposal design and production, attending value proposition and win theme sessions, political analysis, storyboarding, drafting non-technical content, and quality checks. You will ensure timelines, milestones, and responsibilities are communicated effectively, implementing pursuit best practices.

What will you need to do it?

  • Significant experience in pursuit project management and a proven track record of contributing to winning business opportunities
  • Deep understanding of the pursuit process and ability to leverage prior experience
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Experience in writing/editing bids or business communications
  • Creative skills in writing and verbal expression
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills, initiative, and a proactive approach
  • Ability to work under pressure, show determination, and take a pragmatic approach
  • Resilience and a team-focused attitude
