JPMC's Assurance Operations is expanding its Purple Team with an experienced Purple Team Operator specializing in supporting 'Purple Team' engagements and operating in cloud environments. The role involves collaborating with the Cybersecurity Operations Center to perform offensive activities and research as part of 'Purple Team' assessments. The ideal candidate will have experience in network exploitation, Red and Purple Team assessments, and knowledge of networking, threats, vulnerabilities, incident response, threat hunting, and penetration testing tools.

This position may require access to High Security Access (HSA) systems, subject to background checks and screening.

We seek multi-disciplinary technologists with backgrounds in cybersecurity, big data, machine learning, risk management, compliance, and cloud security.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of cybersecurity practices, risk management, threats, vulnerabilities, and incident response
• Experience analyzing vulnerabilities, threats, and producing intelligence reports
• 3+ years in cloud security (AWS, Azure) and in penetration testing, Red/Purple Team operations, or related fields
• Understanding of operating systems, vulnerabilities, exploitation techniques, and security tools
• Preferred: Security certifications (OSCP, CREST, SANS), malware techniques, scripting skills, and experience with security technologies
• Ability to collaborate and work within Agile frameworks
