Job Description

As a Purge and Relight Supervisor, you will work as part of the Cadent CMO on the Mains Replacement Contract across the North West. Using your technical expertise, you will deliver a first-class service to our customers with safety being paramount. You will work within a regional team of engineers. It is essential you have a full UK driving license.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect pipework alterations for meter relocations within client SLAs.
  • Carry out gas safety checks and visual inspections of appliances, ensuring safety procedures are followed per gas safe regulations and data is accurately recorded.
  • Engineer solutions on-site with a focus on first-time fix.
  • Plan workload and schedule appointments to meet timescales and customer requirements.
  • Ensure accurate data collection and sharing with relevant departments.
  • Manage stock planning and control to ensure equipment availability.
  • Deputise for service delivery manager when required.
  • Address customer complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain a good understanding of cost-effective working solutions as a mobile engineer.
  • Work autonomously, delivering professional and first-class service.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Gas Engineer and good IT skills.
  • Apprenticeship or recognized certification.
  • Certifications: CMET 1 & 2, MET4, REG1 & 2, CODNCO1, TPCP1, CCN1, CESP1, CMA1 or equivalents.
