Job description

We are looking for candidates with exceptional customer service skills for this opportunity to join the PureGym Member Services Team. Responsibilities include answering membership queries via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Emails, LiveChat, Calls, and more.

At Pure Gym Member Services, we handle member inquiries from across the UK and seek passionate candidates to work in a fun, dynamic environment. A genuine interest in health and fitness is preferred.

Availability and Requirements:

  • Candidates must have facilities to work remotely, including a suitable Windows Laptop or PC with a camera and microphone, and a reliable internet connection of at least 10 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload speed.
  • A dedicated workspace considering functionality, lighting, sound, and ergonomics is required.
  • Attendance at 40 hours of paid training at the Leeds Head Office (Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm) is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide digital customer support and ensure high-quality member experience.
  • Identify member needs and offer appropriate solutions, aiming for first contact resolution.
  • Exceed customer expectations with exceptional service.
  • Handle concerns positively, promote membership sales, retention, and upselling.
  • Meet KPIs and targets, maintain professionalism, and promote a positive company image.
  • Have comprehensive knowledge of PureGym’s products, campaigns, and locations.
  • Participate in company activities and training at Leeds Head Office.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to deliver excellent service with enthusiasm and drive.
  • Enjoy exceeding expectations and being proactive.
  • Respect, trust, and team collaboration skills.
  • Timeliness and a genuine interest in fitness.

Preferable Skills:

  • Good time management, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
  • Experience in remote working, strong written communication skills, and a minimum typing speed of 50 WPM.
  • Previous experience in Voice, Social Media, or Digital Customer Service.
  • GCSE English A*-C or equivalent.

Shift Pattern/Hours:

  • Part-Time and Full-Time options available.
  • Full-Time: 40 hours/week, various shifts, at least 4 weeks’ notice.
  • Part-Time: Up to 20 hours/week, evenings (from 5pm), weekends, fixed shifts.
  • Availability during evenings and weekends is required.
