A leading technology firm in Liverpool seeks a Purchasing Team Leader to manage a new purchasing team, establish processes, and lead supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of purchasing management experience and expertise in ERP systems. This hybrid role requires onsite presence 3 days a week, offering a salary range of £35,000 to £40,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.

As the first person in to a newly created team, you will have the opportunity to develop processes, systems and people,
As Purchasing Team Leader you will play a key role in enabling ARO to purchase and fulfil vendor orders as efficiently as possible.
You will manage a team of purchasing administrators who will process purchase requisitions, place purchase orders with suppliers, and for some product segments, manage the fulfilment of orders. The centralisation of purchasing is a new function, so you will contribute to the initial setup of processes and procedures and rollout of a new finance platform, to make the purchasing function a success.
You will be responsible for establishing and managing a team of purchasing administrators, and ensuring their performance aligns with the team’s goals.
Please note that this is a Hybrid role with onsite requirement 3 days a week. You must be able to commute to the office and have your own transport.
