Job summary

Unknown client in Peterborough seeks an experienced Purchasing Supervisor to support and develop their purchasing function, ensuring sourcing of materials and services while maintaining strong supplier and stakeholder relationships. Brand-new role within a growing business.

Reporting to the Procurement Operations Manager, you will oversee purchasing activities, support supplier management, and help drive procurement performance across the business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within purchasing, procurement or supply chain operations.
• Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
• Good commercial awareness and analytical ability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
• Previous supervisory experience would be advantageous.

Our client, a global manufacturer and distributor based here in Peterborough, is looking for an experienced Purchasing Supervisor to support and develop their purchasing function. This is a brand-new role within the business and comes at a very exciting time for the company overall.

The successful individual will ensure the effective sourcing of materials and services while maintaining strong supplier and internal stakeholder relationships.

The Role:
