Staffordshire Police is seeking a Fixed Term Purchasing Officer to join the Commercial Services team at Staffordshire Police Headquarters. You will manage purchasing activities, ensuring policy compliance and timely use of purchase orders.

You will train colleagues in the system, support the Purchase to Pay cycle, and work with Accounts Payable to smooth payments. Salary ranges from £28,071 to £32,613 for a 37-hour week on a temporary contract.

Responsibilities

• Ensure purchasing activity complies with policy and is recorded using purchase orders (POs).
• Train colleagues in using the purchasing system and processes.
• Support the Purchase to Pay process and liaise with Accounts Payable to facilitate timely payments.
