Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Purchasing Manager (HV / Electrical) in Bristol. The role offers £60,000 - £65,000 base with a 10% salary bonus, training, company benefits, progression, and hybrid working.

You will manage end-to-end procurement for HV components and liaise with clients to meet tight project deadlines. The role focuses on sourcing transformers, switchgears, and cables, maintaining supplier relationships, and delivering high-quality components on time.

• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with component suppliers and clients.
• Maintain supplier and customer relationships.

• Procure electrical components including switchgears, transformers and cables.
• Ensure on-time delivery to project deadlines.
• Work 40 hours per week, 8:00–17:00, with hybrid work options.

Are you a Purchasing or Procurement Manager with a background in sourcing HV Electrical components, such as transformers, switchgears, and cables, looking for a highly autonomous role within a rapidly growing company quickly becoming the go-to-name in HV engineering solutions?

In this role you will be working closely with an established portfolio of preferred clients, overseeing end-to-end supply chain management and procurement operations. You will use your technical expertise to source high-quality, cost-effective components, ensuring projects are delivered within strict deadlines. Duties also include acting as point of contact between internal teams and clients as you develop and maintain client relationships. This role is primarily office based, with hybrid opportunities, and rare site visits to meet clients.
