RAD Propulsion is seeking a Purchasing Manager to support the smooth running of the company’s purchasing and related procurement activities.
This role will be pivotal to the future growth of RAD and we are seeking a motivated individual who not only wants to be part of building a successful business but who will grow with the business and be instrumental in developing and improving effective procurement processes and tools needed to support this growth.
Aspects of the role include:
A key element of the role will be to support the future growth of the purchasing department. This may in the future include recruiting assistants, fellow staff and managing these staff as the company grows along with owning and managing the systems and tools in place for procurement.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have a background in procurement, preferably in the marine industry and would also have real-world experience of marine products.
You should also be able to demonstrate:
●A methodical approach to problem solving and an ability to get stuck into procurement/related challenges.
●A flexible, pro-active approach to tasking and a willingness to recognise and take on additional tasks as needed.
●Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Whilst not a requirement for the role, practical experience of the Odoo business management system (https://www.odoo.com/) would be a significant advantage

Because we are a dynamic team that thrives from working with each other in a location where we can see the product, talk to customers and the see opportunities this role is primarily based on-site. However, flexible working is possible when sensibly applied.
RAD employees are contracted 40 hours per week and are usually at the office from 0900 to 1700.
