Responsibilities
  • Build lasting relationships with internal teams and trusted suppliers to support seamless operations.
  • Guide and support a collaborative purchasing team to meet shared goals.
  • Coordinate purchasing strategies that reflect both market insights and business needs.
  • Use thoughtful data analysis to enhance how we buy and source goods and services.
  • Work closely with plant and supply chain teams to make sure materials arrive on time.
  • Develop supplier partnerships that focus on quality, reliability, and transparency.
  • Monitor purchasing activities to stay aligned with our ethical and compliance standards.
  • Support team development through coaching and regular check-ins - everyone's growth matters!
  • Encourage cross-functional teamwork to better forecast demand and manage inventory needs.
  • Identify opportunities for cost improvement that don’t sacrifice product integrity.
  • Track purchasing activity to ensure smooth workflows and positive financial impact.

Required Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a related area.
  • 5+ years of experience working in procurement or supply chain.
  • Experience guiding or mentoring purchasing professionals.
  • Confidence using procurement software and tools for reporting and planning.
Additional Qualifications
  • A master’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or procurement.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or food production setting.
  • Background in leading cross-functional projects with diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with sustainability-focused sourcing methods.
