Are you a strategic procurement professional ready to make a meaningful impact? A well-established, employee-owned company is looking for a Purchasing Manager to lead sourcing across multiple product categories. This is a high-impact role working closely with internal teams and suppliers to drive cost-efficiency, sustainability, and product availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies across major product categories
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times to optimize total cost and stock availability
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Warehousing, and Showroom teams to align purchasing with demand and promotions
  • Monitor trends and customer demand to optimize inventory and minimize waste
  • Lead supplier onboarding and compliance with sustainability and company policies
  • Deliver regular procurement reports and analysis

About You

  • 5 years' procurement experience in hospitality, retail, wholesale, or FMCG
  • Strong negotiator with proven supplier relationship skills
  • Comfortable using ERP systems, Excel (. VLOOKUP), and reporting tools
  • Commercially astute, with an eye for balancing cost, stock, and demand
  • Organised and detail-driven with excellent communication skills
  • Passionate about sustainable sourcing and environmentally responsible practices
