Are you a skilled Purchasing Manager looking for a role where you can make a real impact? Join a thriving manufacturing company based in Chichester and take charge of supplier negotiations, procurement strategies, and cost-effective purchasing solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining quality, optimising costs, and building strong supplier relationships. This is a new position.

AS AN PURCHASING MANAGER, YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Negotiating contracts to secure the best value while maintaining high product quality
  • Fostering strong supplier relationships, resolving challenges proactively
  • Managing purchase orders and maintaining accurate records of goods ordered and received
  • Tracking supplier performance to ensure timely material delivery
  • Developing and maintaining supplier agreements to drive efficiency and cost savings

Requirements:

Proven experience in procurement and supplier management

Strong negotiation and people management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

This is a full time permanent position based near Arundel, you will need to drive with your own vehicle due to the location, with free parking provided.

You’ll be working in the office Monday to Thursday & Friday from home.
