About Our Client

Our client is a leading importer and distributor of premium wines and spirits in the UK, renowned for curating a portfolio of exceptional producers from around the world. With a reputation built on quality, authenticity, and strong relationships, they serve a discerning clientele across fine dining, luxury retail, and private clients.

Job Description

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with producers, freight forwarders, and 3PL warehousing.
  2. Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including international shipments and UK distribution.
  3. Monitor stock levels and maintain optimal inventory across SKUs, ensuring availability while minimising wastage.
  4. Ensure full compliance with HMRC and import/export regulations.
  5. Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to support business goals.

The Successful Applicant

  1. Proven experience in logistics & supply chain, ideally within the wine & spirits or premium FMCG industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of UK import/export regulations, bonded warehousing, and customs documentation.
  3. Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (ideally Sage).
  4. Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  5. WSET qualifications or an interest in fine wine is a plus.
