Our client is a leading contract manufacturer in the health and wellness industry, producing high-quality food and supplement products that support mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Following continued growth and an internal promotion, they’re now looking for a Purchasing & Key Accounts Assistant to support their expanding operations.
This is a hands-on, varied role where you'll work closely with the Purchasing & Key Accounts Manager, acting as a key link between production and supply chain. You’ll play an important part in ensuring that materials are in place, orders are processed efficiently, and customer needs are met on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor stock levels and match against incoming customer orders
  • Chase suppliers for raw material deliveries and track orders
  • Research and compare supplier quotes for price, quality, and lead times
  • Liaise with internal teams including Sales, Production, and Operations
  • Ensure accurate data entry across systems and purchasing records
  • Maintain retention samples and support quality documentation
What We're Looking For:
  • Solid administrative experience—ideally in purchasing, operations, or logistics
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence working with technical information
  • Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Clear communicator—both written and verbal—with a collaborative approach
  • Own transport required due to split-site responsibilities
Why You’ll Love It Here:
  • Competitive salary: £27,000–£30,000 depending on experience
  • 28 days’ holiday (incl. bank holidays), increasing by 1 day per year for 5 years
  • Christmas shutdown to recharge and reset
  • Free on-site parking
  • Workplace pension
  • Supportive, growing team with long-term development opportunities
