Overview

Successful manufacturer requires a Purchasing Assistant on a part-time 4 full days, 12 month FTC contract. Applicants need previous experience within purchasing administration or supply chain and ideally have been exposed to an ERP or MRP system.

The Purchasing Assistant will offer support to a team of Buyers and Senior Buyers, performing operational and administrative procurement tasks. Working within a fast-paced production manufacturing environment, the Purchasing Assistant will be proactive in building strong relationships with supply chain partners and stakeholders. The position is available on a 12 month FTC, and it is envisaged the jobholder will work part-time (4 full days).

Responsibilities
  • To raise and amend where necessary purchase orders on vendors
  • To ensure all orders are acknowledged and loaded on MRP/ERP system, and MRP/ERP data is maintained
