£11.83ph to £12.33ph, Temporary (expect duration 3 months), Immediate start, Monday to Friday 7.30am till 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am till 12.30pm

Due to continued success, our client, the UK Head Quarters of a global manufacturing company, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced purchasing assistant to support their busy purchasing team:

  • Chasing suppliers for status updates (via telephone and email), and confirmation of ETAs
  • Liaising updates throughout the company
  • Booking incoming deliveries onto internal database
  • Raising purchase order numbers, checking for discrepancies
  • Checking supplier's order confirmations
  • Matching P.O.Ds with invoices and authorising payment
  • Providing administration support to the purchasing department

The successful candidate should demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Sage, have an excellent eye for detail, and possess strong communication skills to build supplier relations. Support will be provided 1-to-1 to familiarize you with company processes and procedures. This role is ideal if you have experience in purchasing administration, procurement administration, or as a buying assistant.

You will join the UK arm of an international manufacturing company with over 50 years of established reputation in their field. Working directly with the Senior Operations Manager, this role offers daily variety. The organization is known for delivering outstanding quality service and seeks a purchasing assistant committed to the same standards.
