Our commitment to quality and sustainability is evident in every aspect of our operations, and we are excited to invite a detail-oriented and motivated Purchasing Assistant to join our procurement team. In this role, you will support our purchasing processes and help ensure that we maintain an optimum supply of raw materials to meet production demands.

As a Purchasing Assistant, you will assist in sourcing and purchasing various materials, liaising with suppliers, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities

• Help our purchasing team in finding and acquiring the necessary raw materials and packaging supplies
• Keep our supplier databases organized and ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date
• Prepare purchase orders and keep an eye on their status to guarantee prompt deliveries
• Reach out to suppliers to address any concerns regarding deliveries, pricing, or product quality
• Conduct market research to discover new suppliers and assess their offerings
• Assist in keeping track of inventory by monitoring stock levels and participating in regular stock checks
• Support the team in analysing purchasing data and compiling reports for management
  
  

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills for effective supplier interaction
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with various departments
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in a purchasing or administrative role would be advantageous but not mandatory
