Job description

An expanding client is looking for an experienced Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement operations and drive supply chain efficiency. Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll manage supplier relationships, streamline processes, and develop a growing team.

Responsibilities
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure best value.
  • Implement Just-In-Time and Kanban methods to optimise inventory.
  • Oversee stock management and improve cash-to-cash cycles.
  • Develop vendor accreditation and performance scorecards.
  • Manage ERP/MRP systems to align procurement with production.
  • Lead and mentor a developing team of buyers.
About You
  • CIPS qualification (or working towards).
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (Master's desirable).
  • Strong purchasing/supply chain experience.
  • Strong background in supplier negotiation, inventory control, and ERP/MRP.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills.
