Job Description

• Effective implementation and management of a best practice system for stock replenishment and maximum levels, enabling you to streamline, monitor, and measure stock turn without compromising customer service.

• Responsible for the diversification of Group Stock Procurement, managing existing supply chains, and establishing new agreements and strong relationships.

• Possess a strong level of commercial acumen and demonstrate the ability to procure the best value from both current and new suppliers globally.

• Draft and issue invitations to tenders and supplier partnership agreements, negotiate terms and contracts to ensure the best prices for procurement, maintaining quality and service standards.

• Ensure timely delivery of goods, proper packaging, and manage import logistics for compliance, efficiency, and reliability.

• Manage a team with varying experience levels, overseeing departmental KPIs, providing excellent service, and developing team members.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will have:

• Strong numerical, administrative, and organizational skills.
• Extensive experience with ERP systems, especially SAP S4/HANA, and proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent people management and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
• Management experience and willingness to travel occasionally.
• Experience managing and developing Asian suppliers, in-house assembly, and Quality Assurance.
• A relevant Business or Purchasing qualification (CIPS) is desirable.

• Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 GBP per annum.
