Job Title Purchasing Administrator

Our client, a national leader in the retail sector are looking for a finance administrator to join their team at Carlisle Head Office. In this role you will oversee the day-to-day purchase order and order confirmation/ supply chain orders.

Job responsibilities

  • Enter purchase orders on the system and amending Purchase orders for revision of delivery dates etc. on the system.
  • Dealing with day to day purchase/ hire order numbers.
  • Keep spreadsheet of purchase order values up to date for all main vendors.
  • Issue confirmation of order placements to suppliers.
  • Communication and provision of supply chain visibility through verbal and written communication.
  • Management of relevant critical path stages ensuring the system is kept up to date.

Ideal Candidate Requirements

  • Experience within a similar role, purchase order/ administration would be beneficial.
  • Drive for progression, this role will look to develop the successful candidate.
  • High degree of punctuality, ensuring all details are organised and updated regularly.
