Job summary

Venn Group’s specialist finance recruitment team is recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a well-established organisation based in Preston. This permanent opportunity offers the chance to join a supportive finance team within a stable business environment.

You will be responsible for processing high volumes of supplier invoices, reconciling supplier statements and supporting payment runs, while maintaining supplier records and assisting with month-end activities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable position.
• Strong attention to detail with good Excel and finance system skills.
• Ability to manage supplier relationships and resolve queries in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice or payment queries.
• Supporting payment runs, maintaining supplier records and assisting with month-end activities.
